Traveling Mishaps

At Mt Vesuvius' crater

We made it to Rome! Apparently, arriving 90 minutes after your scheduled time is normal? We've yet to have a train or bus experience that was punctual, but have tried our best to roll with the punches. We're having a great time!

Otherwise I've been doing a good job keeping things exciting. First, there was the pizza throwing incident in Pompeii (yes, I keep hinting at this story; no, I'm not going to tell it yet because typing on a smart phone is painfully slow). Next, I managed to step squarely on a whopper of a gum wad in Sorrento just outside the train station. Glorious. But those two incidents can't compare to tonight's mishap: elbowing a waiter in the groin as he passed by. Lovely. You know your spouse loves you when you keep making a fool of yourself, and he keeps telling you how beautiful you are. <blush>

Again, time is short and sweet, and our comfy bed is calling my name. We're just around the corner from the embassy, so if my accidents escalate at least we can get the consulate to act on my behalf! Ciao!

  1. HAHAHA I can't wait to hear all about your adventures! Yes, ever expect the buses to come and when they do be happy!! Remember it's all a game and everything will make sense!

  2. hahahaha oh dear, sounds like you've been up to a lot.

  3. Sounds like quite the adventure...I can't believe you are keeping up with posting!

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear your comments, feedback, and suggestions.
